Learning Rx Indianapolis and Ben Utecht
The LearningRx Indianapolis team is so very proud of former Indianapolis COLT Ben Utecht for his continued dedication to one-on- one brain training to strengthen cognitive skills. What an inspiration to so many!
Did you know Ben’s book, Counting the Days While My Mind Slips Away: A Love Letter to My Family, came out just last month? Yep, it’s available on Amazon right now. In it Ben chronicles his amazing journey, including where it all began – with five major concussions while in the NFL and memory loss, along with insights on how his faith and his love for his family keeps him going. He also touches on his brain training experience with LearningRx and how it has given him hope again.
For Ben, brain training “workouts” with LearningRx Minneapolis had a huge difference in helping build a stronger brain, sharpening his focus and improving key cognitive skills that assist with memory. His memory improved from the 12th percentile to the 98th percentile in 6 months and that has changed his future.

A key one-on- one brain training activity that helped Ben in building new stronger cognitive pathways was learning the Presidents through imagary. It’s one of our favorite activities. This Friday we’ll be playing it live on Indy Style with hosts Tracy and Amber. We can’t wait! Tune in to WISH-TV 9-10 a.m. and see how they do.
